The Coalitions for Change Programme (C4C) is DFID’s Nigeria led initiative to enable Nigeria achieve effective use of resources and formal accountability.  C4C has been on stream since September 2007. The programme is presently winding down its 3 - year project cycle, but has been granted an 18 month  extension period.

Accordingly, C4C is presently seeking to employ a capable and experienced candidate for the following positions:

1. Communication Desk Officer

We seek an intelligent, disciplined, trust worthy organised, and self assured candidate for this position. S/he must be articulate, and possess impeccable communication & interpersonal skills necessary for effective performance in a multicultural, gender aware and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the post holder include:
•    Managing the Front Desk Office
•    Receiving and attending to C4C visitors
•    Maintaining visitors register
•    Recording of incoming  & outgoing mails and calls
•    Maintaining postage & courier register
•    Tracking and responding to official mails & correspondence
•    Office protocol
•    Taking minutes of meetings & circulation of same to team
•    Documentation;  managing circulation and filing of newspapers etc


Previous experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.

2. PROGRAMME ADMINISTRATOR & FINANCE ASSISTANT (PAFA)

A self organising team player with strong development programme administration and numeracy skills is sought.  The right candidate must be able to work well under pressure. S/he must also possess impeccable integrity and interpersonal skills necessary for effective performance in a multicultural, gender aware and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the post holder include:
•    General staff management, including the supervision of all junior staff
•    Logistics and the processing of visas and work permits for overseas visitors and consultants
•    General Office Administration, including drawing up administrative procedures, computer housekeeping and maintenance of files and records.
•    Cash Management, including the processing of project vouchers and cheques, disbursements and retirement of advances
•    Internal Control, including asset management
•    Support to colleagues in Programmes department
•    Any other task as may be assigned by the officer’s line manager

Qualifications and Experience

•    A good first degree or its equivalent.
•    Membership of a professional body will be an added advantage.
•    4 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar position
•    Strong IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word

Previous experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.

Remuneration

The remuneration for both positions is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidates’ qualifications and experience.
